Phoenix!

Here I am in Phoenix and my cute little daughter-in-law, Kristen, is showing me how to set up my blog. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!?

We have been in Phoenix since Thursday and we are having a fabulous time. By "we", I mean Jake and I. Today, being Mother's Day, has been especially divine (to use one of Kristen's favorite words). Started out with an early morning phone call to Mack in the Ukraine. It was so good to hear his voice. He sounded quite authoritative and focused on his mission--great Mother's Day gift. Don't like that Nick and Jess are not with us but what ya gonna do? The kids went together and bought me a bottle of sweet smelling perfume--I love it! Tonight was the real topper though. Kristen made a wonderful dinner--roast beef and mashed potatoes complete with gravy, flaky rolls, fresh fruit and her famous deviled eggs. Fantastic!! We will be here until Tuesday. Maybe I'll find time to write more on this blog then.
